The news comes as COVID-19 limitations in the UK are eased today for the penultimate time before the planned full reopening on June 21. The move has made way for some venues to resume full capacity since shutting their doors in March 2020.
The 10,000-limit venue will return to full crowds in August with 'Mo Gilligan and Friends and The Black British Takeover' as the main show to be reported. The show will be held at The O2 on December 8, with tickets to special on May 21.
Working in association with O2 to launch and conduct The Welcome Back Shows, fans utilizing the Priority application will have exclusive excess to purchase tickets for each show 48 hours before any other individual.
Emma Bownes, VP of programming for AEG Europe, the owner and administrator of The O2, said: "The Welcome Back Shows mark a truly energizing moment for The O2 and our fans, as we prepare to invite full limit crowds back to the venue after an extensive delay.
"We're arranging a stunning series of events that will get the best comedy, dance, afrobeat, rock, and give fans what they've been waiting for. We're enchanted to launch our return season with the absolute best of British comedy and realize that hearing The O2 arena with 20,000 laughs is the tonic we all need."
The declaration comes after the London setting a week ago facilitated The Brits grants service inviting 4,000 individuals to feature the public authority's experimental run program.
