Read the Ads Carefully
Not every iPhone ad will be a scam, but it is important to pay very close attention to them. First, do your research. Make sure to read all about the upgrade you want. Then you can start reading classified ads that are selling them. Some may be too good to be true, so keep that in your mind when shopping. When you look an ad, there are several questions you can ask in order to make sure you are not getting scammed.
These questions include:
Did someone take the time to write the ad with no spelling or grammar mistakes? Are there multiple photos of the phone? Does it come with the proper accessories? Are they written in the ad? What is the price they are asking for? Is it a lot lower than the other sites you have looked at? These questions will help you gain more input about the iPhone.
Contact the Seller of the iPhone
Once you have found the iPhone for you, it’s time to call the seller. Ask them all the questions that you want to know about the phone. Phone numbers in the ad are usually a great sign that they are real and not trying to scam you. Be sure that you know the signs of sketchy behavior so you can keep that in mind when you aer making your final decision.
Buying an iPhone from a classified site doesn’t mean you are getting scammed. It is important that you know the signs of a good seller and a bad one.
